Job Overview
We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. In this role, you'll work in a fast-paced retail environment where no two days are the same.
Responsibilities
1. Provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments, and maintain the store’s appearance.
2. Encourage customer feedback and contribute to continuous service improvement.
3. Assist across various store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending, and stock routines.
4. Follow safety procedures and participate in seasonal, community, and charity events.
5. Understand store performance and contribute to profitability.
6. Adhere to company policies, live our values, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
7. Follow clock-in/out procedures for accurate payroll.
8. Follow security procedures and wear safety equipment.
9. Serve age-restricted products following the 'think 25' policy.
10. Respond promptly to assistance calls, especially at self-service checkouts.
11. Maintain a clean, organized, and congestion-free store environment.
12. Potentially manage shifts in the absence of supervisors.
13. Complete all relevant training to ensure safety and legal compliance.
14. If applicable, manage daily operations of the Post Office, including passing necessary background checks.
