Overview
General Manager — Full Time position located at 8966 University Blvd., Ste. 101. This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and brand standards.
Firehouse Subs is a restaurant chain with a passion for hearty and flavorful food, heartfelt service and public safety. Founded in Jacksonville, Florida in 1994 by brothers and former firefighters Chris Sorensen and Robin Sorensen, the brand emphasizes serving the community and supporting public safety initiatives.
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
* Ensuring the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state and federal regulations including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA and other applicable laws for legal operation.
* Knowledge, adherence and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
* Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of heartfelt guest service, quality and cleanliness, while embracing Firehouse Subs culture.
* Create a cheerful and fun work environment guided by Firehouse Subs beliefs and values.
* Ensure profitability by operating within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities and sales growth.
* Coordinate and implement current operations strategy and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner.
* Staff the restaurant with qualified personnel who are trained and developed properly.
* Implement and promote all required Firehouse Subs marketing initiatives.
* Continuously train and develop the restaurant team.
* Participate in Local Restaurant Marketing in the local trade area.
* Implement and promote Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraisers and initiatives.
* Ensure required programs, reports and legal documents are accurate, complete and accomplished on schedule.
* Maintain awareness and participation in community affairs to leverage sales and public relations opportunities.
* Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times.
* Communicate effectively with franchisees about issues that may impact the business.
* Maintain restaurant equipment in full working order and report problems to franchisees as needed.
* Able to work on your feet for up to 13 hours at a time.
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Any other duties assigned by the franchisee.

• Ability to ensure compliance with applicable laws and Firehouse Subs policies.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Availability for full-time, with capacity to support marketing initiatives and community engagement.
