Purpose of the role

To support the marketing team in delivering outstanding marketing plans. The role will encompass both social media, shopper marketing and general marketing support where required.

This role interacts mainly with:

Internal: Marketing: Brand & Comms / Portfolio / Shopper; Sales & Category Team; Technical Team, specifically the Consumer Care Team and the Finance Team

External: Agency partners – Creative, Digital, Media & PR; Third party contacts e.g. events partners; Partners/Influencers and Consumers

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing Executive – social media and Website

* Supporting the day-to-day performance of social media including daily (5 days a week) community management – including day to day checking / communication with parents / responding to queries and being the voice of Organix / Goodies online
* Escalate any consumer complaints / feedback to Customer Care and escalate any potential 'risk' to the business following HeroUK&I Crisis Management process
* Website: supporting the Senior Digital Manager to continue to optimise and develop content that drives traffic and delivers against key brand metrics. Manage changes to the website i.e. ensuring new foods are on the site in time, updating the changes we're making pages, deleting products no longer available etc
* Support in the creation, delivery and reporting of content plans across all Organix and Goodies social media channels in line with agreed KPIs on all social media channels incl. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube & TikTok flagging areas of concern when appropriate.
* Management of social partnerships and consumer competitions – identifying and setting up partnerships, running competitions, fulfilling prizes, GDPR management
* Support in the delivery of the Influencer / Content Creator programme: research of relevant creators, negotiation, briefing, feedback and delivery of assets on time / in full
* Support the delivery of paid social campaigns liaising with Favola and VCCP Media
* Support in the evaluation of digital campaigns against defined KPI's to ensure ROI is optimized, on-going monitoring of performance
* Competitor monitoring and benchmarking
* Day to day budget management & tracking for social media

Shopper Marketing Support

* Working with Shopper Marketing Manager and Brandbank to ensure all brand assets (Organix & Goodies) are kept up to date and are correctly feeding through to retailer websites
* Building capability on Citrus / Criteo to help support on sponsored product marketing campaigns – setting them up, monitoring and evaluating
* Ad hoc support on Purchase Order management

General Marketing Assistance

* General support to the marketing team (across brand & comms, portfolio) to ensure excellent delivery of events / shows / festivals / retailer brand days / internal events
* Supporting in arranging venues, samples, props, briefing and managing POS etc
* Consumer Panels / Research – supporting in the setting up of research panels, stock management, logistics etc
* Award Entries – management of award entries, arranging sample deliveries, submissions, results and events
* Support the marketing team in the delivery of any specified project or tasks e.g. SRP audits, competitor audits, internal communications etc

* As the interface with our consumers, you will have a clear understanding of Organix & Goodies sustainability policies, plans and practices and communicate these with stakeholders, as well as support delivery of initiatives.

What you will bring to the role:

* Degree level or equivalent will be desirable
* Solid experience in social media and online communities and a proven track record in managing social media channels, will be desirable
* High level of familiarity with existing and emerging social media platforms
* Commercial FMCG background would be ideal, with experience of community moderation / management as well as experience of building reach and engagement across multiple channels
* Experience of operating as part of a small team & driving own agenda
* Experienced in developing relationships cross functionally and with external partners
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English and excellent attention to detail
* Excellent computer literacy including ideally experience in social media tools such as Social Bakers (or similar relevant platforms)
* You'll demonstrate a pro-active approach and enthusiasm
* An ambitious, team playing attitude
