Vice President, Sales – EMEA
Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented commercial leader to oversee sales operations across the EMEA region for a high-growth diagnostics portfolio. The role entails full responsibility for driving revenue, building market share, and leading a team of sales professionals across direct and indirect channels. This position collaborates closely with the global business leader for the product line to ensure regional alignment with global objectives.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role that demands a strong commercial mindset, people leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of the regional life science and diagnostics landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
* Define and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy tailored to the EMEA market.
* Lead annual sales planning and budgeting using both bottom-up and top-down methods.
* Deliver accurate sales forecasts, performance analysis, and reporting cadence.
* Maintain a robust, qualified pipeline aligned with long-term growth objectives.
* Take direct ownership of key strategic customer relationships within the region.
Sales Execution
* Expand regional footprint and drive new business development across target markets.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global sales team.
* Work closely with the global business owner for product alignment and consistency.
* Engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) to support product adoption and market expansion.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Interface with product development teams to relay market needs and shape product evolution.
* Coordinate with service and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
* Provide actionable Voice of Customer (VoC) insights to inform future strategies and offerings.
Operational Excellence
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
* Establish clear roles, accountability, and performance metrics across the sales organization.
* Cultivate a culture of ownership, feedback, and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Expertise
* Extensive sales leadership experience within the life sciences, diagnostics, or biotech industries.
* Deep knowledge of EMEA market dynamics and regional business practices.
* Proven ability to craft and execute winning sales strategies in competitive markets.
* Experience managing hybrid sales structures (direct and channel-based).
* Strong forecasting, pipeline development, and commercial planning skills.
* Solid understanding of industry trends, regulatory environment, and customer expectations.
