About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled KS2 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Shropshire. You will be responsible for delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum to pupils aged 7 to 11, helping them to build confidence and achieve strong academic progress in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
* Track and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs
* Manage behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to enhance pupil development
* Encourage independence, creativity, and critical thinking among pupils
Who We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching KS2 pupils, with strong subject knowledge across core subjects
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Passionate about making a difference in children’s education and development
* Ability to adapt lessons to suit diverse learning needs
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
