Alexander Daniels have partnered with an ambitious SME, backed by a well-established international group, who are looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to join its senior leadership team. With a footprint across the globe, this business is entering an exciting new growth phase and strategic realignment.
The RoleThis is a broad, hands-on Financial Controller position that will suit someone with both strategic and operational capabilities. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with Group HQ, you'll lead on financial management, reporting, and support wider business functions such as HR, admin, and customer operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts and deliver timely group reporting
* Manage payroll, cash flow forecasting, supplier payments and statutory compliance
* Lead a team covering order processing, procurement, and general administration
* Support HR, IT, onboarding, and contract management (with external advisors)
* Collaborate with group colleagues across Europe
About You:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience with SME or group reporting experience
* Strong Excel and Sage 50 skills
* Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels
* Collaborative, resilient, and proactive in driving improvement
* Able to travel internationally up to 4 times per year
