Shifts: Monday - Friday
Earlies: 06:00-14:00
Lates: 14:00-22:00
Days: 08:00-16:00 (occasional)
Holidays: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays (company closed over Christmas)

Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join the team. This is a hands-on role where you will carry out maintenance, repair, and fault diagnosis across machinery and factory equipment. You will work both independently and as part of a team, following maintenance schedules and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. The role also includes assisting with equipment installation, process support, and completing the required documentation.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
* Recognised mechanical qualifications, a completed apprenticeship, or proven experience in a similar maintenance role within manufacturing.
* Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance and safety procedures, including lock out/tag out and general HSE practices.
* Experience in troubleshooting, fault finding, and repairing mechanical equipment.
* Understanding of mechanical components, both metric and imperial, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
* Knowledge of machinery systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, process drives, pumps, and bulk solids/fluid systems.
* Excellent communication, numeracy, and attention to detail.
* Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to build strong working relationships within a team.
