We are on the lookout for a Revenue and Pricing Analyst to support the development and execution of Grand Central’s pricing and retail strategies by delivering insightful analysis across products and channels and contributing to commercial decision-making. Within this role you will play a part in identifying growth opportunities, enhancing retail effectiveness, and supporting revenue protection initiatives to drive sustainable revenue performance. What you will be doing: Proactively Identify opportunities for growth and optimization through in-depth analysis of revenue, scans & fares data. This is made up of a range of set deliverable reports for the business as well as adhoc in-depth analysis and insight to identify growth opportunities. Provide support to the Revenue Management, Pricing & Retail Manager in developing and implementing Grand Central’s pricing strategy and delivery of a fares structure to maintain competitiveness and achieve forecasted revenue growth. Support the implementation GC’s retail strategy, ensuring Grand Central’s services are available for sale through all chosen rail retail channels and GC’s retail presence is accurate, effective, and driving sales. Support the Revenue Management, Pricing & Retail Manager in developing and implementing GC’s revenue protection strategy through in-depth analysis of scans data. Provide appropriate product and channel reporting including in-depth analysis and insight and make and review business recommendations as appropriate. Produce and distribute staff and retail briefs outlining ticketing and commercial policies. What you will bring: Qualifications – educated to degree level with strong written and numerical skills. Analytical and Strategic Thinking – strong analytical background with the ability to interpret complex data. Communication – strong communication with excellent inter-personal skills Experience – previous experience within a similar role with the ability to exert influence and negotiate outcomes in internal and external context. Commercial – commercial awareness and ability to appreciate the wider business perspective, whilst taking an innovative approach to make proactive recommendations.
