We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join the Pharmacy Technical Services Unit! The Pharmacy Technical Services Unit comprises the Aseptic unit, Radiopharmacy unit and Cytotoxic unit. Supervised by the senior technician in charge, the post holder will provide support services to the Pharmacy Technical Services department, including the receipt, storage and supply of Pharmaceuticals and other stocks, the manufacture of aseptic products in both the aseptic and cytotoxic unit.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist under supervision of the Specialist Technician and Team Leaders with the compounding of cytotoxic drugs, PCA solutions, intravenous additives and other aseptically prepared products within the Pharmacy Technical Services Unit.
* Assist senior staff with support duties such as cleaning aseptic rooms, cleaning equipment and unit, unpacking stores and assembling items.
* Receive, store and supply pharmaceuticals and other stocks.
* Manufacture aseptic products in both the aseptic and cytotoxic units.
* Participate in early and late finishes, cross‑site working and weekend and bank holiday working.
