It's an exciting time to join the Digital team here at AXA Health, with significant investment planned to transform and deliver new digital services for customers. We're looking for an experienced Lead Salesforce Test Engineer to join our Engineering team and support the delivery of our digital roadmap, develop our people and capabilities, and drive improvements across teams. This is a product-led operating model where teams align with value streams, delivering ideas from conception to completion with minimal handoffs. Our current focus is on developing the Single Digital Platform, based on Salesforce with a significant .NET estate, Azure services, and React frontend web applications.
As a Lead Salesforce Test Engineer, you will learn about recent technology trends and influence organisational choices. Our engineers collaborate, respect opinions, and strive for continual improvement. AXA promotes a motivated atmosphere where people feel energized to achieve common goals. We offer flexible working arrangements and a balance between home and office time. You’ll work at least two days a week away from home (40%), moving to three days (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending an office location, visiting clients, or industry events.
What you’ll be doing:
* You’ll act as a line manager and supervise/guiding a team of test engineers, sharing best practices in manual test execution and exploratory testing in complex end-to-end Salesforce environments
* Overseeing testing activities within a team responsible for frequent code deployments and delivery of business value to production environments
* You’ll be hands-on and uplift existing capabilities, with a focus on test automation
* Leading the technical design, implementation and maintenance of test automation projects within a CI/CD environment
* Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing, including leadership or senior SDET experience
* Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the SDLC
* Expertise using test automation frameworks and tools to design and implement test automation suites
* Experience with Provar or Copado Robotics Testing (CRT) would be advantageous
* Experience with load testing / simulating load and reporting results
* Extensive experience in manual testing approaches; automation is crucial but effective manual testing remains valuable
* Proven experience implementing process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
