The team you’ll join
You will join a dynamic team of product and design professionals committed to delivering exceptional value through building a secure, global payments platform providing intuitive and engaging user experiences.
The Role
As a Product Owner at EML Payments, you will ensure effective and timely fraud detection and prevention capabilities, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement screening, identify, and prevent fraudulent transactions, reducing financial losses, enhancing security, and maintaining customer trust.
Key responsibilities include:
* Real-time fraud detection and prevention across cards, merchant, web, and app transactions.
* Implementing fraud metrics, monitoring, and red flags.
* Setting up and monitoring screening processes including sanctions, PEPs, adverse media.
* Establishing KYB/KYC processes compliant with regional regulations.
* Managing limits and controls to mitigate fraud and money laundering risks.
* Setting transaction monitoring rules and alerts.
What you’ll do
* Define and communicate the vision and strategy for defend and protect capabilities.
* Develop and maintain a product roadmap.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
* Translate product ideas into actionable user stories and oversee the product lifecycle.
* Ensure a seamless customer experience and drive engagement.
* Leverage data for informed product decisions and provide regular performance reports.
* Monitor industry trends and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Develop partnerships and be a subject matter expert on platform capabilities.
What you’ll bring
* 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Manager, preferably in fintech.
* Experience working with external partners and authorities.
Skills and Technical Knowledge
* Strong communication, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
* Familiarity with Agile, Jira, Confluence, payment solutions, and fraud detection tools.
Education
* Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or related field.
