How you can help people and organizations work better together
We are looking for a Research Programme Manager to design, deliver, and develop Advantage 360 benchmarking research programmes in our UK & Ireland operations. This role suits a team player working with UK Programme Management, Operations, and Client Service teams to manage annual 360 research programmes through design, specification, fieldwork, data analysis, insight, and reporting. The role focuses on key retailer, wholesaler, and operator clients in the Out of Home Market, covering food and drink sub-channels like Convenience, Wholesale, Foodservice, and On Trade.
This position is primarily remote, embracing flexible working, but requires travel for client and company meetings as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
Project Design & Management Excellence
1. Collaborating with the Programme Director, Operations, and Client Service teams in the UK and Toronto to ensure programmes are designed and executed on schedule, aligning with strategic goals.
2. Managing local activities for design, specification, execution, and reporting of benchmarking programmes.
3. Working with the Operations team and interviewers/editors for qualitative research phases.
4. Communicating with clients to ensure fieldwork quality and milestone achievement, reviewing survey data for quality and coverage.
Research Excellence
1. Compiling intelligence from various data sources, adhering to GDPR and relevant standards.
2. Having recent experience or understanding of the UK Food and Drink industry, including retail and supply chain roles.
3. Gathering research requirements from clients and monitoring survey responses to meet targets.
4. Collaborating on data processing, verification, and quality assurance.
Insights and Client-Service Support
1. Ensuring timely delivery of insightful reports aligned with client needs.
2. Delivering presentations effectively to diverse audiences.
3. Providing excellent client experiences and actively seeking new business opportunities.
Candidate requirements include:
* Minimum A-level qualifications, preferably a university degree.
* 3-5 years of project management, research, or marketing experience.
* Experience in UK retail and wholesale sectors.
* Knowledge of UK retail, interest in digital/media, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and BI tools like Tableau is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills in English, numeracy, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
