Scheme Officer (Independent Living Scheme Officer)
Location: Tynings Court, Churchdown (GL3 2HF)
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time, 30 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Salary: £27,000 per annum

What You’ll Be Doing
* Providing housing-related support to vulnerable and older residents across our independent living schemes
* Building strong, trusting relationships with customers to help them feel safe, supported, and independent in their homes
* Carrying out health and safety checks, managing communal repairs, and completing annual reviews
* Acting as a visible, consistent presence on-site – offering reassurance and connection to residents
* Promoting wellbeing and independence by being a vital, friendly point of contact
What We’re Looking For
* Empathetic, patient, and genuinely interested in the lives and needs of older people
* A confident communicator who is not afraid of difficult conversations
* Self‑motivated and flexible – able to manage your own workload effectively
* Strong at influencing and building relationships, even in challenging situations
* Experience working in a customer‑focused role, ideally with older people
* Good understanding of policies, procedures, and professional standards
What You’ll Need
* A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
* Willingness to travel between schemes in the Tewkesbury area
* An enhanced DBS check (we’ll guide you through the process)
