People Partner – Creative Industries
What’s it look like?
Here’s one for the People pros who love being right in the thick of it. We’re supporting a fast-growing creative business at the heart of London’s film, TV and production scene. With state-of-the-art studios and a growing reputation for innovation, they’ve scaled quickly since launching in 2021 — and they’re only just getting started.
This newly created People Partner role is a chance to put People and Culture firmly at the heart of a high-energy environment. Reporting into the COO, you’ll work closely with senior leaders, guiding, advising and influencing on everything from leadership capability and organisational development to inclusive recruitment and performance culture.
It’s a part-time role (3 days a week) but high-impact, high-visibility — perfect if you thrive on in-person relationship building and want to shape the next stage of a growing, values-driven business.
Now you’re talking…but what’s in it for me?
This is the chance to step into a People role with real breadth. You’ll have ownership across the full spectrum of People activity — from ER and operations through to leadership coaching, L&D, and organisational design. You’ll be a visible and trusted advisor to the senior team, with the autonomy to shape strategy and scale initiatives in a business that’s still evolving fast.
The role offers diversity of experience, senior-level visibility, and the scope to build a People function that grows with the organisation. If you’re looking for impact, progression, and the chance to influence at the highest level in a creative, high-growth setting — this is it.
Yep, I’m sold! So now tell me what’s required…
We’re looking for someone who’s already proven themselves in a standalone or SME People role, ideally in a creative, media, film or production environment. You’ll know how to balance strategic input with operational delivery, and you’ll be confident advising senior leaders with credibility and impact.
You’ll bring sound knowledge of UK employment law and hands-on experience managing ER cases, but more than that, you’ll be passionate about building inclusive workplaces and embedding culture in line with values. Strong project management skills, a flair for data-driven insight, and the ability to coach and nurture managers will all be key.
If you’re comfortable working at pace, and excited by the chance to build and evolve a People function in a growing creative business, we’d love to hear from you.
