We are looking for a Patient Pathway Support Clerk who can help us deliver an efficient, high-quality service within the Head and Neck Department. This is a patient facing role so having a caring and emphatic approach is crucial to delivering effective and person‑centered service.
Main duties of the job
The post requires an efficient, caring and proactive individual with an appreciation and understanding of the confidential nature of the work.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, be excellent communicators with good telephone skills and have the ability to meet deadlines on a daily basis whilst maintaining a positive approach, and providing a quality service that supports our patient care.

Person Specification
* GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English grade D or above or NVQ Level 2 or above in Business Administration
* Previous experience of working as a team
* PCS training
* Previous experience of working within the NHS
* Previous experience of working in an Outpatient appointment team.
* Previous experience of working in a confidential environment
* Previous experience of working on a reception desk
