A vacancy has arisen for a Lab Test Means & FTI Project Manager, responsible for leading the development of advanced test infrastructures that support hydrogen technologies and fuel systems innovation.
The role sits within a large, transnational Flight & Integration Test Centre environment, embedded in the Test Means & Digital Platforms domain - a 500‑person organisation operating across multiple countries and sites. Role Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of infrastructure development required to construct, commission and operate a Hydrogen Test Facility, along with a suite of test benches supporting a comprehensive Fuel Systems Test Programme.
These test means - both flight and laboratory - are essential tools used by test specialists and flight crews to validate, integrate and certify complex system modifications.
The role sits within the transnational Enable subdomain, which manages finance, performance, safety and project management activities across Filton, Hamburg, Bremen and Toulouse.
Key Accountabilities
Full responsibility for Time, Cost and Quality performance across the project
Definition and ownership of the Statement of Work
Establishment of project structure and governance frameworks
Steering project execution using clear metrics and performance indicators
Management of Risks & Opportunities
Reporting to external stakeholders and ensuring transparent communication
Capturing lessons learned and driving continuous improvement
Candidate Profile
