Social Worker –Reach Out (Domestic Abuse) Team
Salary: £47,324 to £52,532per annum

Exciting new opportuinity tojoin theReach Out (Domestic Abuse) Team as adedicated and experienced Social Worker to work full-time in Ilford. This role involves working collaboratively with victims, children, and perpetrators to reduce harm, improve safety, and empower families to achieve lasting positive change.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments of individuals and families impacted by domestic abuse, ensuring that risks are identified, and safety plans are developed.
* Deliver targeted interventions to victims and children, promoting resilience and safeguarding their welfare.
* Work with perpetrators to address abusive behaviours, where appropriate, using evidence-based approaches.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with multi-agency partners, including the police, health services, and domestic abuse charities, to provide coordinated and holistic support.
* Use professional judgment to make informed decisions and implement plans that reduce risks and enhance safety.
* Attend case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency risk assessment conferences (MARAC) as required.
* Maintain up-to-date, accurate records in line with legislative and organisational standards.
* Promote awareness of domestic abuse and its impact within the community and professional networks.
* Engage in reflective practice, supervision, and ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of practice.

Requirements:
* Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England.
* Significant experience in working with individuals and families affected by domestic abuse.
* Strong understanding of UK legislation, including the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, Children Act 1989, and safeguarding frameworks.
* Proven ability to manage a challenging caseload, prioritising tasks effectively.
* Skilled in conducting risk assessments and safety planning.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with service users.
* Experience of working within a multi-agency context to address complex needs and risks.
* Commitment to anti-oppressive practice and promoting equality and diversity.
