Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the VP of Product Engineering (Custom .NET) oversees teams of software platforms, providing leadership, vision, and strategy for the platform engineering organization. Responsibilities include recruiting, developing talent, and ensuring staff capabilities meet business needs. The role involves implementing platform initiatives, championing best practices, and aligning projects with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure health and safety compliance at all times;
2. Develop and execute strategy for Custom .NET software applications;
3. Understand integration concepts for software with SaaS and on-premises third-party software;
4. Define product vision aligned with business objectives;
5. Provide thought leadership and strategic insight to the engineering team;
6. Understand customer needs to ensure positive product experiences;
7. Recruit and develop a high-performing platform engineering team;
8. Oversee end-to-end application development following SDLC standards;
9. Collaborate with MIS team, architects, and developers on large projects;
10. Work with business stakeholders to define project scope and ensure adoption;
11. Monitor key metrics for continuous improvement;
12. Manage project risks, delivery, and communication;
13. Coordinate with senior leaders to meet objectives;
14. Gather and analyze feedback to improve products.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration;
* At least 10 years of software product management experience;
* At least 7 years leading product management teams;
* Proven ability to build, launch, and scale software products;
* Experience with integrating software with Oracle or Salesforce is a plus;
* Ability to manage multiple projects and reprioritize proactively;
* Experience working with engineering teams on large projects;
* Comfort with data analysis and customer research.
