Information about collection of your personal data:
When completing the questionnaire, data is collected about your name, email, gender, CV and cover letter.
We collect and register the personal information you have given in this questionnaire. Thereafter, we will potentially collect and register additional information about your skills from references and social media in order to evaluate your competences and experience for the position in question. Subsequently, you may be asked to fill out a personality profile and/or a video as a part of the process. Based on this information, we will develop a profile which we register and store for a period of 6 months.
The purpose of the abovementioned processing of your personal data is to evaluate your qualifications in relation to the specific position at the company/organisation you have applied for, as well as in relation to any future vacancies.
The information you have given in the questionnaire may be subject to automated decision-making. The logic behind this decision will be based on objective criteria, which makes it possible to identify applicants with the desired qualifications.
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your given consent.
Your consent to the abovementioned processing can be withdrawn at any time with the result that the registration of your data is deleted. Withdrawing your consent can be done by contacting the person responsible for the recruitment process at the data controller.
Your personal data will be stored for a period of 6 months after which it will be deleted.
You have the right to at any time request information about your personal data, and to have it rectified or deleted. You also have the right to request a limitation of the processing or to object to the processing. This can be done by contacting the person who issues the questionnaire at the data controller.
You have the right to receive the personal data you have given in the questionnaire in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, as long as an anonymisation of the data has not taken place.
It is voluntary to answer the questions in the questionnaire, but an omission to answer the questions will reduce the ability of the data controller to evaluate your competences in the presupposed way, which in turn may affect the assessment of your qualifications in relation to the position in question.

Job Purpose
The role is an addition to an existing one within our design team and this opportunity comes as part of our growth plans, to develop more resource and support for the sales team and create efficiencies.
The role supports the design, development and installation of innovative playground schemes by producing high-quality CAD drawings and technical documentation. The CAD Technician will play a key role in producing and pricing creative concepts that meet safety standards and client expectations, as well as producing accurate and detailed construction drawings that support the installation of playground and outdoor fitness equipment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create construction drawings of playground and outdoor fitness schemes ready for installation by our contracts team
2. Interpret client briefs, site surveys, and drawings to deliver creative, functional, and cost-effective 2D design solutions and quotations
3. Translate designs from our bespoke inhouse 3D sales software to create construction drawings for our contract team
4. Collaborate with the contracts managers, sales and wider design teams to ensure feasibility and compliance
5. Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant safety standards (e.g., BS EN 1176/1177)
6. Maintain drawing archives and CAD libraries to align with KOMPAN process standards
7. Identify and resolve design errors and design efficiencies, collaborating with internal teams, through clear communication and handover
Skills & Experience
8. Experience in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D desirable)
9. Experience in landscape, architectural, or product design - preferably in playground or outdoor leisure sectors
10. Understanding of levels and cut/fill desirable
11. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
12. Knowledge of UK playground safety standards is advantageous
13. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
14. Strong communication, teamwork and collaborative abilities
15. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Your profile
16. You have a design related degree, e.g. product designer, graphic designer, interior design
17. You are proficient in AutoCAD
18. Ability to balance technical accuracy with commercial awareness and creativity
19. A proactive, problem-solving mindset, always looking to improve efficiencies and positively influence KOMPAN through a collaborative approach
20. You are a team player with an ambition to learn and develop new skills
