We are seeking one full-time Family Support Worker to join our dedicated Family Hubs team across Sandwell. About the Role As a Family Support Worker, you will work closely with families, communities, and partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children. Using a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and relational approach, you will help ensure families receive the right support at the right time. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver targeted interventions, achieving measurable KPIs and positive outcomes Provide high-quality direct work to strengthen families and promote resilience Support families to access appropriate universal and specialist services Deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to family needs Complete and maintain accurate records, including risk assessments and GDPR documentation Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partner agencies Contribute to effective exit strategies that ensure sustainable change Capture and use the voices of children and young people to shape service delivery What We're Looking For A passion for supporting families and improving outcomes for children Experience of working within a trauma-informed and strengths-based framework Strong partnership working and communication skills Ability to manage a varied caseload and meet deadlines A flexible approach to working patterns Working Pattern Monday to Friday Flexibility required for occasional evenings and weekends Additional Requirements Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential, as travel across Sandwell is require Although this contract has a permanent status, please be aware that this post is subject to funding currently to 31st March 2029 and therefore should this funding not be extended further, you may be subject to a redundancy consultation or a TUPE arrangement.
