An established and values-driven organisation is seeking a friendly and well-organised Receptionist to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis. Starting on Monday 16th June, this fully office-based role will run until Friday 27th September, offering a wonderful opportunity to be part of a meaningful organisation that makes a real impact in the UK and internationally.
In this varied front-of-house role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing a professional and welcoming reception service. The role will also involve a range of administrative duties and requires someone who is confident working independently and managing multiple tasks efficiently. Full training will be provided, but previous experience in reception or customer service will be beneficial.
Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.
Temporary Receptionist Responsibilities
1. Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, tidy, and welcoming
2. Greet and sign in visitors and direct them appropriately
3. Provide support to tenants and conferencing users on-site
4. Answer telephone and in-person enquiries in a courteous and professional manner
5. Monitor room bookings and assist with meeting room preparation
6. Issue electronic entry passes to visitors and staff
7. Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, including courier services
8. Monitor stock levels of stationery and cleaning supplies
9. Ensure guest wi-fi access is readily available
10. Assist with emergency procedures, including fire evacuation support
