Duties:
Teach on courses and work to develop an outstanding provision that has a positive impact on the learner and assessment process.
To assist in the development of teaching and learning materials, preparing schemes of work, lesson plans and maintaining records to monitor learner progression, achievement and attendance.
Provide appropriate and relevant guidance for learners enabling them to develop knowledge, understanding and skills.
To develop and implement timely, safe, consistent and relevant assessment plans and resources that are linked to initial and current assessments.
Skills/Experience:
Utilising your wealth of technical skills and experience to teach students on programmes at level 1, 2 and 3 through theory and practical knowledge.
Teaching/tutoring/mentoring experience with apprentices, part time or full time learners.
A passion for imparting knowledge and skills to create better futures for our students.
Well organised with excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft IT packages.
Qualifications:
Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in English & Maths or equivalent.
Relevant degree and/or appropriate level professional qualifications.
Level 3 qualification in relevant area of expertise.
Commitment to achieving teaching qualifications.
Assessor and Moderator/IQA Award is desirable.
