About Us Eleven Energy is the UK’s first company to bring sodium-ion home battery systems to market. Our mission is to deliver safe, sustainable and intelligent energy storage that works in all conditions. We are now looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to help us expand our installer and utility relationships, strengthen our nationwide network, and support customers with training and after-sales support. This role combines sales, technical know-how, and customer engagement — ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-growing cleantech company. Key Responsibilities Engage with utilities and partners: Develop relationships with key utility companies and their installer networks. Build installer partnerships: Visit major regional installers, strengthen ties with existing partners, and position Eleven as their default battery system. Develop distribution channels: Explore opportunities to establish a second-tier distribution network. Customer engagement: Respond promptly to customer enquiries (email and phone), providing accurate technical and commercial support. Training & onboarding: Deliver weekly online installer training sessions; onboard newly trained installers as “Trusted Partners” on our website. Installation support: Provide remote and onsite support during system installations and commissioning. After-sales support: Troubleshoot issues with installed systems (remote diagnostics and occasional site visits). Product feedback: Relay insights and feedback from installers and customers to the product development team to help shape future improvements. Marketing support: Represent Eleven Energy on YouTube videos and social media content (both our own and third-party channels), explaining system features and benefits in a clear and engaging way. What We’re Looking For Experience in renewable energy, solar PV, or battery storage systems (essential). A technical background (e.g. electrical, engineering, solar, or battery systems) with the ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly to customers. Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management in the renewables or electrical distribution sector. Confident in hands-on product demonstrations and installer training delivery. Excellent communication skills (both technical and customer-facing). Strong problem-solving abilities for supporting and troubleshooting installations. Comfortable with nationwide travel (a full UK driving licence required). Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently while reporting back to the leadership team. Why Join Eleven Energy?
