Amore Complex Care are looking for energetic support workers to support a gentleman in his 40s, who loves to get out into his local community and engage with the people supporting him.

* This role does not involve travel between multiple sites during one shift. Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making the biggest impact on their lives
Meet the person you\'ll be supporting
* What challenges do I have? I have autism and physical disabilities, so I use a wheelchair and other physical aids to move around.
* What are my aspirations? I love all the activities I do as part of my regular routines, and I am looking for new, engaging support workers to help me to continue to get out into the community.
* What sorts of people do I get on with? I love to be engaged, in all sorts of different ways - no matter what we are doing - if you\'re having fun, I\'m having fun.
* What activities do I do? I have a vehicle which staff can use to take me to my regular activities, such as a local disco, swimming classes,
* How would I describe myself? I am caring, energetic, and fun to spend time with. I can also get anxious quite quickly, and when this happens I can present behaviours that challenge.
My team
* How many staff support me? I have 2 staff supporting during the day, and 1 overnight.
* What shift patterns do my team do? 12 hour days.
Job responsibilities
* Assisting with Autism through goal-oriented activities and daily living skills.
* Monitor the service users physical and emotional well-being.
* Assisting with personal care.
* Supporting with sensory needs.
* Provide person-centred support.
* Support with household duties, such as cooking and cleaning.
* Assist the individual in developing and maintaining positive relationships in the community.
As a company we are unable to offer sponsorship for overseas candidates. Applicants must have proof of right to work in the UK. It is a requirement to provide an overseas police check dated within the last 3 months of being in the UK; if you have been outside of the UK for longer than a year in the last 10 years.
