About you
- A proven track record within a HR Advisor role
- Good knowledge of microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Feel confident in managing ER cases from start to finish
- Must hold a full driving license and be able to travel across the country to support with any ER or recruitment requirements when required
- Show dedication and a pro active, can do attitude and think outside the box with situations
- Up to date knowledge of legislation
- Able to work under pressure
Employee Relations
- Chairing and advising on ER cases from start to finish, Disciplinary, Grievances, Flexible working applications and many more
- Feel confident in decision making
- Involvement in issuing outcomes up to and including dismissals
- Complete invite and outcome letters
- Leading meetings such as invesigations, welfares and completing return to works
- Note-taking in meeting if mnager is chairing meetings
- Updating.Creating policies and procedures
- Involvement in redundancies
General Duties
- To help support and manage the probation process from liasing with managers, updating records and sending outcome letters
- To maintain all HR systems ensuring data and records are accurate and up to date
- Recording date and creating excel spreadsheets
- Developing job descriptions and person specifications
- Support in preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short listing and sifting CV's, interviewing and selecting candidates
- Liasion with recruitment agencies
- Support with producing and issuing offer letters and employee contracts
- Liasing with Hiring Managers for vacancies in Head Office and in Stores
- Introducing new employees to the company and walk them through inductions
Hours of work - 38 hours per week over five days - Monday to Friday
