Our Client, a reputable Independent Used Car Specialist Centre, is seeking to recruit a skilled MOT Tester to join their busy workshop in Liverpool. Benefits:
Competitive salary between £30,000 and £35,000 depending on experience (DOE)
Overtime opportunities with earnings up to £40,000 OTE
Structured working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
One in three Saturdays, 08:00 – 12:00

As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for performing MOT testing in accordance with industry standards and legal requirements
Conduct routine vehicle servicing and maintenance tasks
Identify, diagnose, and complete additional repairs arising from servicing
Assist with vehicle preparation and basic diagnostic work
Work efficiently to meet productivity targets while maintaining high-quality standards
Ensure all work is documented accurately and comply with health and safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organised workspace conducive to quality workRequirements:
Full UK driving licence with a clean record
Relevant MOT testing qualification (e.g., VTS licence or equivalent)
Proven experience as an MOT Tester within a busy workshop environment
Own tools and reliable transport, due to location
Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to the business culture
