Key Responsibilities
As Depot Manager - Warehouse & Logistics, you'll:
Lead daily warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
Oversee stock control, picking, packing, and dispatch
Manage transport planning and delivery performance
Recruit, train, and develop warehouse staff and drivers
Monitor KPIs, operational performance, and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and operational procedures
What we're looking for
We need an experienced leader who has:
Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, ideally in fresh food or FMCG
Hands-on leadership style and ability to lead from the front
Experience managing ambient, chilled, and frozen operations (desirable)
Track record of hiring, training, and developing teams
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and operational discipline
IT skills with confidence in warehouse/logistics systems and reporting
