Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Team Manager - South Warwickshire 6 month FTC / Secondment
1 WTE (37.5 hours per week). Full time role based in Leamington Spa and Stratford Upon Avon.
We are looking for a dynamic manager to lead our Community Mental Health Team. You will be part of a management team that includes two other team managers, a clinical lead, deputy managers, a Referral Team Manager and social care team managers. The team provides evidence-based care to adults across south Warwickshire with secondary care mental health needs and uses multidisciplinary roles to deliver recovery- and outcome-focused interventions while meeting targets. The successful candidate will support the ongoing transformation of community mental health services and establish relationships with local neighbourhoods and primary care networks.
This role requires the ability to multitask across service development, operations and people management, while ensuring data quality and meeting targets. Excellent communication, technical and organisational skills are essential.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with potential flexibility to respond to service user needs.

Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations of the team and supervise clinical staff; maintain knowledge of health and social care policy related to mental health care.
* Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, AMHPs, occupational therapists and psychologists; line management for some team members.
* Input into service evaluations and audits; oversee appraisals, sickness/absence management and training for staff.
* Drive innovation and a creative approach; model positive leadership and support staff development.
* Liaise with Primary Care Networks and manage activity across Leamington Spa and Stratford bases, with staff working across bases as required.
Qualifications
* Professional qualification (e.g., nursing, occupational therapy or social work).
* Significant post-registration experience as a qualified professional with recent experience working with clients in a secondary care mental health setting.
