About the role: The purpose of this role is to continuously support the business to realise opportunities to improve and drive our purpose of creating the added layer of value. Support team managers at all levels, and lead, projects that will improve plant capability and growth for the MB site. Manage project teams by using influencing skills to ensure projects and tasks are completed on time. Work with Excellence team, Supply chain functions, Technical, GBD and Commercial teams to understand and identify future plant opportunities and improvements, creating the added layer of value. Support the Excellence team to deliver the Continuous Improvement program for the business. Support cultural change and lead others to continuously improve their areas of the business through coaching. Facilitate and support kaizen sessions, problem solving, analysing data, and provide advice, where appropriate, regarding process control, flow, design, and statistics. Develop, deliver, and maintain training programs in line with the Devro Lean manufacturing program. About you: You will be a confident facilitator who enjoys working with cross functional teams. You will have 3 years CI practice in a manufacturing environment and are experienced in utilising the right tools at the right time to get the desired outcome. You are a strong and assured communicator and enjoy influencing at all levels of business. You thrive in continuously looking for improvements and supporting teams to recognise this and drive the positive changes forward. You will have supervisory experience and utilise your coaching and mentoring skills to challenge and influence others and encourage team building. You have experience in project management and a successful track record in delivering projects on time. Ideally you will have a six-sigma green belt or be willing to gain this qualification through Devro. What next?
