Salary: GBP44000 - GBP49000 per annum + teachers pension, generous annual leave
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a student-focused Curriculum Leader in Motor Vehicle to lead a dynamic and forward-thinking Automotive department within a well-established further education provider.
About the Role
You will lead and manage the Motor Vehicle provision, supporting a team of lecturers to deliver high-quality teaching and training. The role involves shaping the curriculum, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring students achieve strong outcomes and progression into industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support a team of Motor Vehicle lecturers
* Oversee curriculum planning, delivery, and quality assurance
* Monitor teaching, learning, and assessment standards
* Track student progress, achievement, and retention
* Build and maintain links with employers and industry partners
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and internal procedures
About You
* Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Motor Vehicle or related field
* Recognised teaching qualification
* GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
* Experience teaching or training in Motor Vehicle (FE or industry)
* Experience leading, mentoring, or managing staff
