Pay Rate: £95–£120 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a committed Pastoral Mentor to provide guidance, encouragement, and emotional support to pupils who need it most for schools in Nottingham (NG2). This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building trust, promoting positive behaviour, and helping students overcome barriers to learning.

Purpose of the Pastoral Mentor Role:
* Offer one-to-one and small-group pastoral support
* Support pupils with emotional, behavioural, and social needs
* Act as a positive role model throughout the school day
* Help students develop resilience, confidence, and self-regulation
* Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams

Who This Pastoral Mentor Role Suits:
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour positively
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
