Personal Assistant Aberfan 5 hours per week
I am a happy and chatty 16 year old boy with learning difficulties and epilepsy. I live in Aberfan and I am looking for a Personal Assistant to spend 5 hours per week with me to help me socialise and go out and about in the community. I love the outdoors and have a passion for motorbikes, trains and anything petrol, I also like football. I am very chatty and sociable. When I'm out and about I will need to carry my epilepsy medication and it would be good for someone working with me to have knowledge/experience in dealing with this condition.

* Carry epilepsy medication provided by my mother
Working Hours and Pay
£14.00 per hour and £0.40 per mile for mileage
5 hours per week, 52 weeks of the year
Can be worked flexibly
Type of person required
* Someone who is enthusiastic and fun to be around.
* Someone who has previous experience of working with young people with additional needs and knowledge of epilepsy.
* Full UK Driving licence Essential
* Reliability is essential
* Someone who will encourage independence
Training
Training is accessible if required for the job role
Additional Information
Successful applicants will be subject to a three month trial period
A DBS check will be required, this will be at no cost to yourself
