This is your opportunity to take full control of production, maintenance, and warehousing operations—delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency at a busy Glasgow facility. About the Role Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be the driving force behind operational success, ensuring processes run safely, smoothly, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership position, working closely with teams at all levels to inspire performance and implement continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities * Lead Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to achieve operational targets. * Ensure full compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations. * Create an efficient manufacturing structure to support both current needs and future growth. * Set and monitor KPI performance, taking action where improvements are needed. * Implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and improve service. * Mentor and develop team leaders to build capability across the operation. Requirements Essential: * Proven track record in operational leadership within fast-paced manufacturing. * Hands-on experience with batch and continuous processing (chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, or cosmetics). * Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, LEAN, Six Sigma, and ISO quality systems. * Experience managing multidisciplinary teams. * Demonstrable success in improving safety, quality, efficiency, and cost control. Desirable: * Knowledge of extrusion, compounding, polymer processing, or pigment/masterbatch handling. * Degree in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or related field.
