We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Redbridge to assist with the appointment of an Advanced Youth Offending Service Officer, on a 5.5 months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £26.50 - £34.22 per hour Summary: Redbridge Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Advanced Youth Offending Service Officer to manage a caseload of youth justice cases, including both out-of-court disposals and statutory court orders.
Using a Child First, Offender Second approach, the role focuses on providing tailored support and interventions to children and young people to complete their orders and live crime-free lives. The officer will work collaboratively with families, schools, and partner agencies to reduce offending, re-offending, and disengagement from education, employment, and training. The role requires strong communication, assessment, and case management skills, using AssetPlus to implement trauma-informed practices and evidence-based interventions that promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
