Duties:
- Develop and coordinate a diverse range of activities and events tailored to the interests and abilities of our residents.
- Organize outings, group activities, and individualized programs to promote social interaction, physical health, and mental stimulation.
- Collaborate with staff members to ensure activities align with residents' care plans and overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident engagement levels.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make adjustments as needed to meet residents' needs.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote a positive and inclusive environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an activities co-ordinator, dementia care, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Strong passion for working with older adults and improving their quality of life through meaningful activities.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and colleagues effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of best practices in meaningful activities advantageous.
