Job Description:
Sensata is creating products that improve the performance, reliability, and cost of battery electric systems, working alongside world-leading HVOR customers. We are developing solutions for the next generation of trucks, buses, and stationary storage systems.
The Program Manager is responsible for developing and executing a portfolio of projects and programs within the organization, ensuring completion on time and within budget. The role involves acting as a liaison between project teams and key stakeholders.
General Responsibilities:
* Lead multiple project activities throughout their lifecycles, ensuring scope, quality, time, and cost constraints are met.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project managers to plan and develop project scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and schedules.
* Manage deadlines, budgets, and activities.
* Apply change, risk, and resource management techniques.
* Resolve higher scope issues and assess program strengths for continuous improvement.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and team performance goals are achieved.
* Implement and manage changes to meet project objectives.
* Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders regarding project issues and decisions.
* Provide accurate and timely reporting on program status.
* Analyze program risks.
Experience / Qualifications:
* University degree (Bachelor's) or equivalent relevant work experience.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
* High ethical standards and integrity.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
Additional Qualifications:
* Experience leading multi-functional global teams in defining system and product roadmaps aligned with customer and business priorities.
* Ability to develop business cases for new opportunities.
* Experience in defining and implementing product cost roadmaps.
* Leading Change Management projects as per customer and company requirements.
* Customer-facing project management experience.
* Managing new technology developments in the heavy vehicle industry.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
* At least 3+ years in Project and/or Program Management.
* Experience in Agile development environments.
* Leading hardware, software, and system development projects.
* Background in automotive or fast-paced technology development, preferably with electric vehicle experience.
* Knowledge of Cyber Security and Functional Safety requirements in the automotive industry.
