About the role
Please note - this role can be based in Deeside, Eccles, or Wellingborough.
The IT Senior Business Analyst (Finance) is a new position within the Booker IT team. The role involves supporting change initiatives, compliance programs, and systems delivery for the Finance teams.
Responsibilities
Supporting Finance colleagues daily, managing and resolving problem tickets, and providing expertise for informed decision-making.
Overseeing SAP maintenance (FI/CO), managing user and cost centre configurations, and handling Segregation of Duties (SoD). Ensuring system integrity, adhering to ICFR controls, and performing routine and ad hoc tasks to support Finance. The role requires precision and the ability to manage critical functions to ensure secure and effective financial systems.
Requirements
* SAP experience is essential, preferably within an ECC6 environment, including SAP testing.
* Experience managing change from conception to support.
* Project delivery experience.
* Business awareness, especially of wholesale operations and functional interactions.
* Strong people management skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
* Service management experience in support and project leadership.
* Consistent results delivery.
