Logistics Manager
Global FMCG based near Slough (Hybrid working, 60 / 40 office/ home working)
£65,000 - £75,000 plus bonus and benefits
The opportunity:
Are you a highly analytical individual with a passion for logistics and continuous improvement? We are looking for a Logistics Manager to lead a Team in a fast-paced FMCG business. You will be a visible in your leadership and manage a team of 3 direct reports through a period of change. Highly analytical in your approach, you will drive Continuous Improvement whilst working closely Cross Functionally. Reporting into the Supply Chain Director, you will execute operational plans and provide a customer centric approach.
What will my accountabilities be?
1. Budget Management: Provide input to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budget for warehousing, distribution, and inbound logistics. Deliver against the budget through monthly cost control, managing variances, and handling accruals and invoices.
2. Operational Excellence: Execute local operational plans to achieve optimal warehousing and distribution costs and service levels. Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis, monitoring the quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of goods movement.<...
