I'm delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a regional leadership organisation in the public sector for a Finance Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified (or nearly qualified) finance professional with experience in Local Government or the broader Public Sector.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will lead the delivery of business partnering across a designated finance function. You'll ensure the provision of accurate financial information aligned with statutory requirements and organisational priorities.Key Responsibilities:
* Manage financial planning and reporting for a complex public sector environment
* Provide expert financial advice to a range of stakeholders
* Ensure value for money and safeguard public funds
* Lead or contribute to cross-functional project teams
* Prepare and present high-quality financial reports
* Support budget setting and monitoring processes
What you'll need to succeed
Ideal Candidate:
* Fully qualified (or at the final stages of qualification) - ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA
* Operational finance experience in a large, complex organisation
* Understanding of public sector financial frameworks
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proven ability to work collaboratively and influence decision-making
