Job Overview:
The Team Manager is responsible for ensuring the team meets its revenue targets and achieves sales and compliance goals. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role involves day-to-day management of the team within a fast-paced environment. The Team Manager will inspire excellence through effective leadership, clear communication, and dedicated coaching and development of team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Goals and Objectives: Implement and manage team goals and objectives to drive performance.
* Supervision and Training: Supervise, train, and guide team members to ensure high performance standards.
* Motivation: Continuously motivate the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Service Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our services to effectively support and guide the team.
* Performance Management: Ensure team performance meets high standards, reporting on metrics such as bills, leads, revenue, and talk time.
* Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to management on team performance and statistics.
* Holidays and Training: Oversee staff holidays and training schedules to ensure adequate coverage and skill development.
* Problem Resolution: Discuss and resolve team issues, escalating when necessary.
* Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to assess and enhance individual and team performance.
* Buzz Sessions: Hold regular buzz sessions to engage and energise the team.
* Disciplinary Management: Manage all aspects of disciplinary actions alongside HR, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
* Quality Assessment: Perform quality assessments in accordance with compliance regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, including objection handling and coaching team members.
* Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Outlook and MS Office.
* Team Spirit: Demonstrates a positive team player spirit and cooperative sales skills within the organisation.
* Leadership: Ability to direct, mentor, and actively work with the team to achieve daily sales objectives.
* Motivation: Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.
* Managerial Experience: Previous experience in a managerial role, with effective time and project management skills.
* Decision Making: Capable of making responsible decisions and resolving issues effectively.
