A unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the compliance side of a busy Talent/Recruitment Team. This short-term role could be ideal for anyone looking to expand their experience in recruitment, HR, compliance, or education administration.


About us:


From January to July, Stafford House Study Holidays welcomes around 300 new team members to support our international students across seven UK locations.

Our Talent Team makes sure all pre-employment and safeguarding checks are completed on time, keeping everything in line with safer recruitment standards.

During the busy summer months, our team grows to include a Talent Coordinator and Talent Administrator to help keep everything running smoothly.


The role:


As a Talent Administrator, you will support our vibrant Talent Team of five, helping ensure new recruits are compliant with pre-employment checks required to work with young people. Key responsibilities include:


* Assisting with DBS checks and referencing

* Liaising with candidates to collect all necessary documents

* Supporting Talent Coordinators to ensure all staff are ready to start before students arrive

* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory processes

* You will receive training and support, but must thrive in a busy, deadline-driven environment


What we're looking for:


* Confident communicator - able to liaise with Hiring Managers, candidates, and 3rd party contacts

* Flexible and adaptable (if the contract is extended, some Saturdays in June may be required as overtime)

* Highly organised - able to manage a varied workload with multiple deadlines

* Confident and tenacious - comfortable chasing documents and information

* Detail-oriented - capable of reviewing UK and overseas documents for safe recruitment

* Experience in dynamic, fast-paced administration is essential

* Able to work well in a team and apply your own initiative when required

What we offer:



* Based in Canterbury - just 5 minutes from the centre making commuting easy, plus on-site parking available

* Supported by a well established, friendly team, offering training in recruitment compliance

* Hours: Monday Friday (37.5 hours/week) with overtime during peak periods

* 33 days annual leave pro-rata

* Flexibility: Some hybrid working flexibility for a healthy work-life balance (after a training period and you must be available to work in the office when required)

* Fixed term contract

* Start date: 19th January - late May 2026 with the possibility of your contract being extended (dependent on business needs)
