Job Description: HR Business Partner

Job Overview

You will work with leaders and teams across the region to help build high-performing, future-ready teams who embody our values, Rise; Respect, Integrity, Sustainability & Excellence.
You will help translate business goals into people strategies, shaping the experience for our people, our culture, capability and in turn, guest experience.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience in a HR Business Partner, or senior HR advisory role

• Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations

• Ability to influence and build trust at all levels

• Significant sector experience from guest or service orientated environment

Qualifications & Personal Development

• A recognised qualification (e.g. CIPD accredited or equivalent experience)

• An ongoing commitment to CPD/ personal growth

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnering

• Partner with operational leaders, managers and where applicable, onsite HR, to deliver people strategies that support business objectives, employee engagement and guest experience

• Collaborate to translate business plans into HR initiatives, leveraging our existing tools or recommending/ designing new ones

• Coach and develop managers to build leadership capability and the delivery of best-in-class practices for our people

• Support leaders through complex people matters with sound judgement and empathy, involving yourself in HR process only when escalation is warranted

Talent & Performance
Work proactively across your region to:

• Drive effective performance management, succession planning, and talent development

• Partner on recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies

• Support learning, development, and career progression initiatives

• Embed recognition activity that aligns our people with wider business plans/ goals, while also celebrating length of service and behaviours that embody RISE

Continuous Improvement

• Manage or support HR related projects in your region

• Play a leading role in wider efforts to support your region for changes in light of employment law or best practice

• Leverage technology, systems and automation to ensure agile/ accessible HR processes

• Support organisational change and transformation initiatives

• Champion organisational values, HR tools, inclusion, and positive culture

• Continually monitor KPIs and use data and insight to identify trends, drive improvements and inform decision-making… and celebrate success
