Job Overview
Are you an early career ecologist looking to advance your skills and experience? Could you help us to meet the challenge of delivering Biodiversity Net Gain for Nottinghamshire? We are looking for someone with a background in ecology or a similar discipline to work as part of our Natural Environment unit on the provision of advice and guidance that will underpin the County Council’s delivery of both Biodiversity Net Gain through the planning system and the enhanced Biodiversity Duty.
The post is offered on a full-time basis for two years in the first instance, with potential for extension subject to funding.

Qualifications
* Background in ecology or a similar discipline.
* Early career ecologist preferred.
