Responsibilities
* Provide support to construction projects on environmental issues, including assisting with document production and review as necessary.
* Work collaboratively across the SPA contracts to ensure requirements of the Construction Environment Management Plan are delivered at appropriate construction stages.
* Ensure compliance with current environmental legislation and promote best practices relevant to SPA.
* Undertake site inspections as defined by the frequency within the Construction Environmental Management Plan document.
* Assist with the development and deliver training materials (such as case studies, toolbox talks etc.).
* Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards.
Qualifications
* A degree in an environmental subject, or a related discipline.
* Knowledge or experience in a subject matter such as Contaminated Land, Statutory Nuisance, Waste Management, Ecology, Incident investigation, or Environmental permitting.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
* A proactive, detail-driven approach and a willingness to learn.
* Full UK driving licence (or working towards it). Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application. This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker or Graduate visa routes.
