Purchase Ledger & Bank Reconciliation Clerk
Location: Outskirts of Carmarthen
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm
Salary: Up to 30k dependant on experience
Start Date: ASAP (ideal for immediate starters)
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Purchase Ledger & Bank Reconciliation Clerk to join our clients team based on the outskirts of Carmarthen. This is a full-time, office-based role with the opportunity to develop into a broader accounts position as we transition from outsourced to in-house finance functions.
This role is ideal for someone from a manufacturing or service industry background (please note: this is not suitable for practice accountants), who s looking to roll up their sleeves and get involved in all aspects of finance admin.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing purchase ledger invoices and supplier payments
* Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
* Supporting general office administration
* Assisting with the future transition to in-house accounts (full training provided)
* Using Microsoft Excel and Outlook for financial and administrative tasks
* Learning and using our finance system Navigator (training provided)
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar finance role
* Background in industry (not accountancy practice)
* Confident in using Excel and Outlook
* Willing to get involved in all tasks big or small and work as part of a small, committed team
* Able to start immediately or very soon to allow a smooth handover with the outgoing employee (leaving end of July)
* Own transport required due to limited public transport links to the area.
