Are you a skilled payroll professional looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to work for an established firm on a part-time basis?
A dynamic accountancy practice based near Brentwood are looking for someone to be the payroll lead for a small portfolio of their clients whilst offering you the opportunity to work with a diverse range of businesses.
This is an exciting position offering a salary up to £35,000, 25 hour week, a great pension scheme and more.
As a Payroll Administrator you will:
* Accurately process monthly payroll for multiple clients.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations, pension contributions, and statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, NIC, student loans).
* Maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
* Act as the first point of contact for client payroll queries.
* Assist clients with payroll-related compliance and best practices.
* Provide advice on tax codes, deductions, and statutory payments (e.g., sick pay, maternity pay).
* Resolve payroll discrepancies and liaise with HMRC where necessary.
As a Payroll Administrator you will get:
* Monday to Friday (25 hours)
* ?Overtime - upon completion of trial period and approved in advance
* Generous Pension - eligible upon completion of trial period with a 3% employer contribution
* 25 Days Holiday plus bank holidays
