As a Funeral Service Operative, you'll play a vital role in supporting families with compassion and care during some of life's most difficult moments. Based at our Care Centres in either Orpington or Camberwell, you'll be hands-on throughout the funeral process - from collecting and caring for the deceased to assisting with services and supporting families. This is a practical, emotionally rewarding role that involves both early and late shifts, as well as occasional out-of-hours support.

Why Attend the Open Day?

* Meet Our Team - Learn what it's like to work with Dignity

* Informal Interview - Be considered for the role on the day

You will work four days per week, on a 10-hour shift rota across seven days, including weekends. Shift patterns will alternate between:

* Early Shift: 4:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Flexibility is essential, as the role involves working as part of a rota that includes weekends and out-of-hours support.

* Show compassion, professionalism, and discretion
* Are physically capable of manual handling and lifting
* Are comfortable working in contact with the deceased in various environments
* Hold a Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
