1-2 months initially (covering permanent vacancy)
Remuneration
Hourly rate: £13.50 - £15.83 per hour
Permanent Equivalent Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Role Description
Our client seeks a skilled Plant Engineer to join their rapidly developing construction division, ensuring plant equipment is maintained to exemplary standards whilst consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
Principal Responsibilities
* Conduct equipment repair and pre-hire inspections
* Execute comprehensive maintenance programmes for construction equipment
* Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs
* Undertake systematic service and inspection protocols
* Maintain equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality and regulatory compliance

Candidate Requirements
Essential Criteria:
* Demonstrable knowledge and experience within plant hire or equipment industries
* Strong collaborative skills with ability to support team objectives
* Self-motivated approach with adaptability to dynamic working environments
Desirable Criteria:
* Full UK driving licence (advantageous but not essential)
