We have an opportunity for a Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Diabetes Team at North Middlesex University Hospital.
The Diabetes Specialist Nurse role is integral to working in partnership with both inpatient and outpatient services to ensure a high-quality, needs-led service for diabetic patients treated within NMUH.
The post holder will provide a high standard of diabetes specialist intervention and education across a diverse and multicultural population.
This role involves working collaboratively with service users, healthcare providers, and professionals to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate service developments and diabetes interventions based on current evidence-based guidelines and policies, responding to local needs, Trust strategic objectives, government initiatives, and national policies.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of managing both outpatient and inpatient Diabetes care, working as part of a team to ensure timely reviews and outstanding patient care.
