Our legal & regulatory client in Birmingham are looking for a Data Governance Lead to join their team.
Overview of role:
* You will be supporting the organisation’s approach to increasing their levels of data maturity.
* You must demonstrate your ability to own and steer the enterprise-wide data governance programme to enable decisions to be made on trusted, well governed data.
* The role balances strategy (policies, standards, operating model) working with other business units to meet regulatory obligations and unlock analytics value.

Experience Required:
1. Significant experience in leading data governance, data management, or risk roles
2. Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practise
3. Proven track record rolling out data quality frameworks and governance policies
4. Familiarity with modern data platforms (Cloud data warehouse, Data Lake, ETL/ELT, catalogues, lineage, and quality tooling).
